face to face courses in the seven areas listed below. If you are currently
running a course in one of the areas listed and would like to have it
assessed by the Education Committee, please complete the form
below.
The Education Committee will review courses
against the T-43 Face to face course quality assurance checklist (PDF) to determine suitability for approval as part of the College
training program.

The Communications Course is a mandatory two-day program specifically designed to provide CICM trainees with skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in the ICU. Includes interactive role plays with professional actors.
With a high faculty: participant ratio, each day includes interactive role plays with professional actors to portray real-life emergencies and solutions. You will learn and practice techniques for managing high stakes conversations in a relaxed and supportive environment.
