Dual Fellows

As per the Medical Board of Australia, any practitioner registered as a specialist must include the relevant high-level requirements in their annual CPD program, regardless of the CPD home the specilaist chooses.

If the areas of speciality overlap, you may not need to complete two full CPD programs. CICM recognises the CPD programs of: ANZCA; RACP; ACEM. If you are compliant for CPD with any of these colleges, you are deemed compliant with the CICM CPD program.

If you are a CICM Dual Fellow and you choose one of the above colleges as your CPD Home, you must:

  • Tell us where you are doing your CPD
  • Complete any CICM specialist high level requirements
  • Provide a certificate of participation/completion from the alternate college.

If you are a Dual Fellow and you choose CICM as your CPD home you must:

  • Ensure your alternate college recognises the CICM CPD program
  • Complete and record any specialist high-level requirements set by the alternate college
  • Provide the alternate college with a certificate of participation/completion (downloadable from your CPD Diary)
