OPEN-ICU: Sign up to a new collaborative network for novice researchers

 


 

There is no shortage of interest in research in intensive care, but for many novice clinician researchers, opportunities to get involved with research are limited.

OPEN-ICU is a new collaborative network designed to provide intensive care clinicians with opportunities to participate in research, develop experience, and become part of a growing research community. The network is open to clinicians from all intensive care backgrounds, including nursing, allied health, and medicine, and is being supported by the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) and the ANZICS Clinical Trials Group.

Whether you are a novice or more experienced researcher, we would love you to visit our OPEN-ICU website and sign up to our mailing list so we can share opportunities with you. Upcoming opportunities will include:

  • Apply to join our founding committee
  • Take part in prospective collaborative projects
  • Explore the Research Collaborations Hub, where novice researchers can connect with existing projects, reviews, and dataset analyses, and more experienced clinicians can submit project ideas or collaboration opportunities that they have
