Formal Project submissions: Sustainability

In 2026, the CICM Environmental Sustainability Special Interest Group (ESSIG) is reaching out to Trainees, Registrars and Registered Nurses who have an interest in Sustainability in the ICU to consider a Sustainability Research Project submission.

If this unique and exciting project opportunity sounds interesting, you are invited to contact the ESSIG to discuss and develop your ideas prior to project commencement.

Members of the ESSIG are now making themselves available to discuss any sustainability, resource stewardship research or implementation project (including those that could count as formal CICM projects for Trainees). They welcome discussion on any in-progress sustainability initiatives that may currently be taking place at your ICU or hospital.

The ESSIG is committed to supporting candidates with their project ideas or concept and will make themselves available to discuss this key undertaking with you. Project candidates can look forward to full Sustainability SIG support for a relevant and innovative project initiative.

Interested? Please contact us via email at [email protected].
