A review of the annual training fee found the current model to be inequitable. Some trainees are currently paying a fraction of the training fee whilst still having access to the same resources as a trainee paying the full fees. The changes being introduced will create a more equitable fee model and ensure fee increases do not exceed the consumer price index (CPI). Decoupling the training fee from AVTs will allow the College to automate the process, allowing for greater efficiency so staff can devote time to trainee support.
Trainees and SIMGs may be eligible for a concession. Refer to the Fees Policy for further information, including eligibility criteria. Trainees and SIMGs who are applying for interruption to training or parental leave must have their request pre- approved by the Training Department prior to consideration of the application form.
