Two resignations (elected positions) have occurred in the 2022-23 Victorian State Committee.
Thank you to Dr Sarah Yong for her long commitment to College Board and VSC from a trainee through to an ICU consultant in areas of training, wellbeing, equity and diversity and trainee research. Sarah is taking time away from CICM activities to prioritise her young family and some other career development. I wish Sarah well and thank her for her legacy of significant works.
Dr Cara Moore has resigned her VSC elected position to continue her work on the CICM Board in the New Fellows and Trainees Representative role. Cara will continue to serve on VSC as an ex-officio member in Victoria – thanks for your ongoing CICM community work, Cara.
The VSC would like to invite Expression of Interest for these Fellowship roles as casual vacancies for the remainder of the 2022-2023 VSC period, with a focus on those with an interest or skills in Trainee Research Capacity development; Regional and Rural Intensive Care; or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion issues in Intensive Care Medicine.
