The Felicity Hawker Medal was established in 2004 to honour Dr Felicity Hawker, inaugural Dean of the Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine. It was adopted by the College upon its establishment in 2010. The medal is awarded to the trainee (or Fellow within 1 year of award of the Diploma of Fellowship), who presents the best paper at the Annual Scientific Meeting according to a panel of judges.
The ‘Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine Medal’ was established to recognise an outstanding contribution to the Specialty of Intensive Care Medicine and was first presented at the inaugural JFICM Annual Scientific Meeting in 2005. It was adopted by the College upon its establishment in 2010. The College Medal is awarded to a Fellow who has made an outstanding and major contribution to the specialty of Intensive Care Medicine.

of Intensive Care Medicine in 2012 and renamed the Gillian Bishop Medal in

This medal is awarded to the highest scoring candidate in the second-part exam.
This medal is for the Second Part Paedatric Exam and is once a year.
