Training Fees


SCHEDULE OF TRAINING FEES - 2010
(Effective from 1st January 2010)
Training Fees are designed to cover a share of the cost of running the College administration, examinations and organisation including site inspections for hospital accreditation.  They are intended to enable the College to be self supporting.

Trainee Registration Fee
 
Trainees must be registered within three months of commencing Advanced Training in order to have this component approved.

This fee covers the cost of registration and providing trainees with access to valuable training resources.

To be paid by those trainees who wish to have a formal assessment of their previous training and examinations undertaken by the Censor prior to registering for training with the College.

Applicable to all registered CICM trainees undertaking Basic Training, including those undertaking dual training with another training body.

This fee covers the College's administrative costs in assessing and approving basic training in addition to each trainee receiving all College mailings of educational and examination material.
 
This is an annual fee applicable to Basic Training Years One, Two and Three and any subsequent basic training years that may be required. This fee will be charged retrospectively, where appropriate. 
 
PAYMENT TO BE SENT WITH THE APPROVAL OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING FORM (AVT).
 
Advanced Annual Training Fee
 
 
 
 
Applicable to all registered CICM trainees (including OTS) undertaking Advanced Training, including those undertaking dual training with another training body.

This fee covers the College's administrative costs of approving advanced training in addition to each trainee receiving all College mailings of educational and examination material.
 
This fee applies to Advanced Training Years One, Two and Three and any subsequent years of advanced training that may be required.
 
PAYMENT TO BE SENT WITH THE APPROVAL OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING FORM (AVT).
 
Deferred Training Fee
 
 
Applicable to trainees not undertaking accredited training but who wish to remain a financial trainee with the College.

This fee covers the College's administrative costs throughout the year and entitles trainees not in approved training positions to receive administrative support, College mailings and education throughout a year of non-accredited training.
This fee should not be forwarded if either the BTF, ATF are paid during the year.
 
 
 
PAYMENT TO BE SENT WITH THE APPROVAL OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING FORM (AVT).
 
Pro Rata Training Fee
 
 
The total amount of this fee will depend on how many months of retrospective accreditation are received upon registration.
 
The fee is calculated using the basic training fee at the time of registration.

This fee covers the retrospective accreditation of any basic training received when a trainee registers with the College.
 
This fee does not have to be paid immediately, however all Pro Rata fees must be finalised prior to sitting the Fellowship Examination.

Direct costs incurred (eg flights) are additional to the fee.
