Representatives may remain on the Committee for a period of up to three years, or until receiving their Fellowship. Positions on the Committee are filled by an expression of interest, with an election being held if more than one expression is received. Voting is conducted via a confidential online ballot, by registered trainees only.
Trainee representatives are required to have been registered for training with the College for a minimum of two years, or be a current advanced/core trainee of the College.
The Trainee Committee holds a face-to-face meeting at the College in March once per year to discuss upcoming projects, Trainee Committee and College matters, and meet College staff. Teleconferences are also held throughout the year, generally around the July and November Board Meetings.
